Southern Alps
 
Deep in the remote heart of the Southern Alps, I came across a sight I hadn’t expected. Drifting above the snow-dusted peaks, I was searching for a moment worth capturing when, out of the corner of my eye, a face began to emerge from the landscape. Jagged ridgelines flowed like strands of hair, while a solitary peak rose above them like a crown. A fleeting illusion, perhaps, or a hidden portrait sculpted by nature itself.
