For more than a decade, Lester has photographed the landscapes of Aotearoa New Zealand, drawn to moments of stillness, scale and fleeting light.

His work explores majestic mountain ranges, ancient forests, pristine rivers, wild waterfalls and remote coastlines, where time slows down and the beauty of nature reveals itself.

Through his collection, Lester seeks to preserve not only a sense of place, but a feeling of connection to it.

 

His work is grounded in a belief that experiencing wild places can shape how we see the world, and that a deeper appreciation of them can inspire their protection for generations to come.
